Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CS2 Coach is operated by an independent individual developer (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at admin@cs2-coach.com. This is an independent project — it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike 2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

2. The service

CS2 Coach generates AI-powered tactical analyses of your CS2 matches from demo files. It also supports auto-import via your Steam match history and provides stats, scoreboards, and round breakdowns for every imported match.

This is early-access software. Features may change, break, or be removed as the product develops.

3. Accounts

You sign in via Steam OpenID. You must be at least 13 years old and meet Steam’s own age requirements to use this service. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

4. Free, trial and paid plans

Signing in is free. Every imported match gets stats, scoreboards, and round breakdowns at no cost.

The trial pack is a one-time purchase of $0.99 (USD) for 3 analyses. It is limited to one per Steam account and never auto-renews.

Subscriptions (Starter, Pro, and Pro Plus) are billed monthly in USD and auto-renew via Stripe. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Each plan has a monthly analysis cap — once you reach it, analyses either pause until your cycle resets or continue in a lighter format, depending on your plan, as described on the pricing page. Past analyses remain accessible even after you cancel.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

When you purchase digital content that is supplied immediately (such as an analysis pack or subscription), you acknowledge that supply begins at the moment of purchase and you consent to that immediate performance. This does not affect your right to a refund where the service is faulty or not as described. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

6. Your data and content

By using the service, you direct us to fetch and process your match demos and Steam match history. You grant us the license needed to parse those demos, store derived stats, and generate analyses for you.

Because of how CS2 replays work, demos contain in-match data about the other players in your lobby — not just you. Full details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights are in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not scrape or resell any part of the service, reverse-engineer the application, abuse rate limits, or upload or process content you don’t have the right to use. We reserve the right to suspend access for violations.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Analyses are AI-generated coaching opinions — they are not guarantees of improvement or accuracy.

We depend on third parties (Valve/Steam APIs, hosting infrastructure, and AI providers) whose availability is outside our control. We may interrupt the service for maintenance or other operational reasons.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (such as liability for fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence).

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. To request full account deletion, email admin@cs2-coach.com. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including sections on liability, governing law, and disclaimers — continue to apply after termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
